Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula join hands for a Pan-Indian Project

Tamil actor Dhanush for the first time teamed up with the renowned director Sekhar Kammula, for a pan-Indian project. The title of the film is not yet decided and will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.

Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao will bankroll the film under the banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A unit of Asian Group). The film is expected to release theatrically this year.

Tollywood production house Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP made the surprise announcement through their official twitter handle that read, “The two Men who crossed the barriers to Celebrate Cinema Movie camera The National Award Winners @dhanushkraja Star-struck & @sekharkammula. Fire collaborating for a Tamil-Telugu – Hindi Trilingual FILM Proudly Produced by #NarayanDasNarang & #PuskurRamMohanRao under @SVCLLP Banner!”

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the big announcement via his twitter handle. Sharing the photo he captioned, “DHANUSH – SEKHAR KAMMULA JOIN HANDS… #NationalAward winners #Dhanush and director #SekharKammula team up for the first time… The film – not titled yet – will be shot simultaneously in #Tamil, #Telugu and #Hindi… Produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao.”

He further added, “DHANUSH – SEKHAR KAMMULA FILM: The remaining star cast and technical team will be announced soon… Will go on floors this year… Sonali Narang presents. #Dhanush #SekharKammula #Tamil, #Telugu #Hindi”

Dhanush, who is presently in the United States for the shooting of upcoming American action thriller film The Gray Man.

The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
On the other hand, director Sekhar Kammula is busy with his Telugu-language romantic drama film titled Love Story. The release of Love Story is delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
